Ilene, Rusty, and the Mireille are our trusty flower coolers that make it all possible. Together this triumphant trio supports our entire floral operation! What does that mean?

Each week we order quick pick bouquets, also known as grab-n-go bouquets, that are pre-arranged and wrapped with a packet of flower food. The flower coolers also get re-stocked with new finds from our flower truck delivery every week.

Our Story

After more than 30 years in the corporate world, Shawntel decided to follow her passion for flowers and open The Green Stem Floral & Gifts in downtown Poynette, WI. The transition brought about many opportunities for growth and learning, for Shawntel as a small business owner and her close supporters who continue to help the shop blossom. The current list of community vendors who sell handcrafted gifts and homemade baked goods also make the shop feel cozy and welcoming to all. Efforts to keep involvement fresh and exciting has translated to hosting how-to classes and hosting vendor events. Shawntel looks forward to a growing future!
